Meet Mia

When I'm feeling overwhelmed I... journal. As a biology and pre-dental student at Boston University, my to-do list is often endless. Journaling is one of the few things that grounds me when I am feeling overwhelmed.

My relationship with sleep has been... inconsistent. I've always struggled with anxiety, so there are usually nights when I can't seem to fall or stay asleep. However, I am confident that through MEL we can start a conversation surrounding the importance of a good night's rest and provide solutions for battling potential barriers to sleep (such as anxiety). My hope is that we can help women around the globe find peace in their sleepwear and themselves when they return to their bed each night.

The items on my nightstand that I can't live without... my water bottle, a good book, and melatonin.
